Places to eat

In our Bed & Breakfast we don´t serve lunch or evening meals, but there are enough alternatives:

Hotel Dalen:  This restaurant is proud of it´s top quality food.  Open for lunch and dinner from may to October.  Quite expensive.  We recommend our guests to have a drink at the bar in the evening.  There is piano music and a fire place.  The hotel is located at 50 meters from our Bed & Breakfast.

Dalen Kro:  Very good restaurant next to the Bed & Breakfast.  All our guests get 10 % discount at this restaurant on all meals.  Open every day until 22 o´clock.

Dalen Bryggje: The restaurant is located at the harbour (5 minute walk).  Very beautiful sight over the Bandak lake and the surrounding mountains.  They serve typical Norwegian dishes, but also pizza and hamburgers.  The Bryggje  is only open during the summer season (May - end of August).  Also at this place, our guests get 10 % discount on all meals.

Spiseriet:  A typical Norwegian fast food restaurant.  Also take away.  10 minutes walk from our Bed & Breakfast.  Open year round until 10 p.m..  Closed on Monday.

The breakfast room is free for use, so there is possibility to eat small lunches here. There is a refrigerator and microwave oven available.
